Scotland speaker tour

This November, WDM Scotland are sponsoring a speaker tour by the National Co-ordinator of the Human Rights Consultative Committee (HRCC) in Malawi. Mavuto Bamusi formerly worked for the Malawi Economic Justice Network and also attended the Scotland-Malawi Partnership conference at the Scottish Parliament. Now working through HRCC, Mavuto is a dedicated activist committed to the promotion and protection of human rights for Malawian society. He is visiting Scotland to call for a reallignment of Scottish development policy away from hand-outs to focus on a justice agenda.
